Psychoanalysis

Psychoanalysis was created by Freud when he realised that by letting his patients talk and listen to him, something very valuable emerged. In this way he was able to find a way to reduce the discomfort and suffering of the people who consulted him and to understand their problems in depth. This, although it sounds commonplace to us today, was a revelation at a time when treatment was not through words.

Thus, he discovers the unconscious and the complexities of the psyche and founds a practice based on listening to the word of the other, a practice that has been transformed by other psychoanalysts, such as Jacques Lacan, and which today, in times of magic recipes, is a special way of working with each person who consults us in a singular way.

For Lacan, "the unconscious is structured as a language" and through free association, which consists of speaking without judgement or censorship, one "plays" with the unique language of each person and finds the words that have marked them, in order to reconstruct one's own history and write new chapters.

Psychotherapy

psychoanalytic

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is also a space to reflect, to listen to ourselves, to explore discomfort and do something different with it. It is guided by psychoanalysis but can be directed more towards achieving emotional well-being, feeling good about oneself and navigating the difficulties that can arise in our lives.

Adult psychotherapy

Deciding to start a psychotherapeutic process is a step that is not always easy to take. In doing so we enter a world of self-discovery and listening that can be transformative, though sometimes difficult as well. My purpose is to accompany you on this journey to build a more satisfying way of living.

Couple and family psychotherapy

Relationships with other people can be full of valuable things such as love, affection, care, but also of conflicts, misunderstandings, hatred and other affections that can lead to difficult circumstances.

A couple's psychotherapy is a place to listen to each other and to ourselves and to try to find new ways of relating to each other when aggression or disagreement is the protagonist.

As in couples psychotherapy, the family approach works on the relationship between people, in this case members of a family, for example a couple and their children, siblings, among others.

In this case, the family histories that unite its members, myths, customs, expectations and ideals are added. In a therapeutic space, the aim is to listen and improve the conflict in the family, aware that there may be generational clashes, problems of separation between fathers, mothers and children, rivalries between siblings, crises in the stages of development, among others.
